We are pleased to announce that Prof. Youssef will be leading our courses, which are designed to provide students with a high-quality, interactive learning experience. These courses enable students to engage with the instructor and their peers, fostering a collaborative and stimulating learning environment. One of the key benefits of our courses is the flexibility they provide, enabling students to attend either in person or from virtually anywhere, without being limited by geographic location or physical constraints. With the same level of engagement and interactivity as our physical classroom courses, our courses offer a rich and engaging experience that is both convenient and accessible.

Prof. Youssef brings extensive experience and expertise to our courses, and students can expect to benefit from his deep understanding of the subject matter, as well as his passion for teaching and commitment to student success. We are excited to offer these courses and believe that they provide an excellent opportunity for students to deepen their knowledge and enhance their skills, all while enjoying the flexibility and convenience of both in person and online learning.

General Math Classes

The course will entail comprehensive coverage of the following areas: proportional relationships and their practical applications, arithmetic operations with rational numbers, solving linear equations with one and two steps, resolving geometric problems in two and three dimensions, inequalities, surface areas and volumes, percentages and their applications, exponents, scientific notations, angles, triangles, and making inferences about populations based on samples.

By integrating these topics, this course aims to provide students with a holistic and multidimensional understanding of key mathematical concepts, thereby enabling them to excel in their academic pursuits and effectively apply mathematical principles to real-world situations.

This course has been specifically designed for students in the seventh grade and focuses on several critical areas of mathematics. It aims to develop a comprehensive understanding of key mathematical concepts through rigorous coverage of topics such as operations with rational and irrational numbers, solving linear equations with one and two steps, resolving geometric problems in two and three dimensions, exploring exponents and radicals, delving into algebraic expressions, and making informed inferences about populations based on samples.

To ensure that students are able to effectively grasp these concepts, weekly quizzes will be administered and homework assignments will be given. This approach will enable students to gain a deeper understanding of the material and apply it to real-world situations, ultimately enhancing their mathematical skills and academic achievements.

The overarching goal of this course is to provide students with an opportunity to deepen and extend their knowledge of middle school mathematics. By offering a comprehensive coverage of essential topics, including number and quantity, algebra, sequences, functions, geometry, statistics, and probability, the course seeks to enhance students' understanding of key mathematical concepts and their practical applications.

To reinforce and assess student learning, weekly quizzes will be administered, and homework assignments will be assigned. This approach will enable students to consolidate their knowledge, strengthen their problem-solving skills, and develop their critical thinking abilities. By the end of the course, students will have gained a deeper appreciation of mathematics and its role in everyday life, thereby equipping them with the necessary skills to excel academically and professionally.

To facilitate student learning and promote engagement, weekly quizzes will be administered, and homework assignments will be assigned. These assessments will provide opportunities for students to reinforce their learning, strengthen their problem-solving skills, and develop their critical thinking abilities.

By successfully completing this course, students will have acquired a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental principles of mathematics, which can be applied to a variety of real-world situations. They will be well-equipped with the necessary skills to tackle complex mathematical problems and excel academically and professionally.

Pre-Calculus/Integrated Math III  is designed to offer students a comprehensive understanding of a diverse range of mathematical concepts.

The course content is centered on an in-depth exploration of various functions, including linear, polynomial, rational, logarithmic, exponential, and trigonometric functions. Students will also delve into vectors, polar coordinates, complex numbers, sequences & series, conics, mathematical induction, statistics, trigonometry, probability, limits, and derivatives.

To facilitate effective learning, students will be regularly assessed through weekly quizzes and exams, and homework assignments will be assigned. Additionally, short tests will be administered to reinforce and assess students' understanding of specific concepts.

By the end of this course, students will have developed a comprehensive understanding of advanced mathematical concepts, preparing them for future academic and professional pursuits. They will be equipped with the necessary skills to tackle complex mathematical problems, analyze data, and draw informed conclusions.

This course is designed to prepare students for success in AP-Calculus AB & BC by providing them with a comprehensive understanding of the major concepts of Calculus, including derivatives, integrals, and their applications. Additionally, students will delve into sequences and series, areas, volumes, and polar coordinates.

Throughout the course, students will be challenged to employ multiple problem-solving strategies to enhance their understanding of the concepts they are studying. Graphing calculators will be used to support students' interpretation of analytic solutions, enabling them to more fully comprehend the solutions they arrive at through analytical and graphical perspectives of the same problem.

To reinforce and assess student learning, weekly quizzes will be administered, and homework assignments will be assigned. Additionally, students will be required to justify their techniques and conclusions in writing, developing their critical thinking and communication skills.

By successfully completing this course, students will have acquired the necessary skills to excel in advanced calculus courses and succeed academically and professionally.

Math Olympiad Training Sessions

The course is designed to give students the basic foundations of problem-solving skills. Students will learn the major strategies to approach more math challenging problems other than those given at their school. Topics such as geometry, logic, number theory, algebra, statistics, counting and probability will be covered. Such topics will strengthen the student’s mathematical intuition and hence prepare them for the higher Mathematics Olympiad levels. Throughout the course, students refine and expand their skills through practice problems, workout questions, and interactions. Students will rely on critical thinking, mathematical reasoning, and problem-solving to investigate and explore different areas of mathematics. Homework is assigned and checked. Quizzes and short tests are given.

The course is designed to give students the basic foundations of problem-solving skills. This is a continuation course for the Elementary Math Olympiads course. Students will learn the major strategies to approach more math challenging problems other than those given at their school. Topics such as geometry, logic, number theory, algebra, statistics, counting and probability will be covered. Such topics will strengthen the student’s mathematical intuition and hence prepare them for the higher Mathematics Olympiad levels. Homework is assigned and checked. Quizzes and short tests are given.

The course is designed to prepare students for the Math Olympiads AMC 8 test. The test is given once a year around mid November. Students in this course will learn Geometry, Number Theory, Counting, Probability, Problem Solving strategies, Algebra, Statistics, and Sequences and Series. Throughout the course, students refine and expand their skills through practice problems, workout questions, and interactions. Students will rely on critical thinking, mathematical reasoning, and problem-solving to investigate and explore different areas of mathematics. Homework is assigned and checked. Quizzes and short tests are given.

Students in this course will learn the advanced Algebra concepts and Geometry. They will develop advanced problem-solving skills.
Throughout the course, students refine and expand their skills through practice problems, workout questions, and interactions. Students will rely on critical thinking, mathematical reasoning, and problem-solving to investigate and explore different areas of mathematics. Topics such as number theory, plane and solid geometry, algebra, probability, statistics, problem solving, and sequences and series are covered. The course will not only prepare students to take the AMC 10 (American Math Contest 10), but also it will give students a chance to start preparing early for both AIME and USAMO tests. Students in 9th and 10th grades may take the AMC 10. The test is 75 minutes long, 25 multiple choice questions, and it is given twice a year in February. Those who pass the test will qualify to take the AIME test. Homework is assigned and checked. Quizzes and short tests are given.

This course is designed to prepare students to take the AMC 12 test in February.
It is similar to AMC 10, but additional topics are covered and a knowledge of Pre-Calculus is required. We mainly focus on Functions, Complex Numbers, Trigonometry and its applications, and Solid Geometry. We also cover other topics including polynomials, logarithmic functions, problem-solving, probability, and statistics. This course teaches students the basic foundations that they require to take the AIME. The more you prepare for this course, the easier AIME gets. Those who pass the test will qualify to take the AIME test. Homework is assigned and checked on a daily basis. Quizzes and short tests are given.

AIME (American Invitational Mathematics Examination) is an intermediate exam which bridges AMC 10/12 and USAMO.
Students who scored in the top 1 on AMC 10 tests are invited to take the AIME test. It is 15 free-response questions in which each answer is an integer from 0 to 999, 3-hour long. The test gives talented students more opportunities to challenge their mathematical abilities. We cover all advanced topics in Trigonometry, Geometry, Number Theory, Combinatorics, Probability, and Complex Analysis. Some of the topics we cover are beyond the regular school math topics. All students are required to devote enough time to solve AIME problems. Homework will be assigned on a weekly basis and short tests are given.
